So, you don't understand "it seems to me that a person who champions
causes to benefit the lower classes, e.g. health care reform, would
demonstrate a genuine empathy for the lower classes instead of the
condescension he marshalls in assigning insult to being lower class."

I can translate, if that's necessary.

Save your translations for justhate. Your "writing" is utterly
transparent to me. I told you, I used to teach bonehead English, and
your overwrought crap would have qualified you for that class.

And your consistently deflecting the points at issue are transparent
to everyone else. You and I both know what the issue is...

I have stated any number of times here that I don't believe those on the
right have any points worth considering. The right has pretty much
destroyed this country and everything good for which it once stood, and
it wants to continue doing so. I've commented several times on your
overwrought prose.

As far as an issue goes, there is none in Scott Ingersoll. He is an
utterly useless piece of right-wing ****, someone who sucks on the
taxpayer teat, has no redeeming social value, and is an irresponsible
parent. I don't view him as a "representative" of the lower class or, in
fact, of any class. To me, he's nothing more than a piece of ****
floating on a sea of ****.

I hope that is clear enough for you. I could always rewrite it in your
(lack of) style, of course, but obscurity is not my aspiration.

And where do you stand exactly in the class struggle, Harry? You
inarguably have made it quite clear that you deem it to be an insult
to be cast with the lower classes. What style of progressivism do you
subscribe to, Harry? One of elitism?

You apparently are not a careful reader.

I assume we are not discussing Marxism here.

I stand "exactly" with the middle class, with those who are trying to
maintain their standing in it, and with those who are trying to achieve
it. I believe in extending a hand to those in the lower socioeconomic
classes who are *working* to achieve "middleclassdom." That "hand"
should include a way to pay for decent, readily available health care
insurance/coverage for themselves and their families, good public
schools, safety on the job, job retraining if they need it, et cetera.

I believe this country rises or falls on the success of the middle
class. I don't believe a right-wing financial oligarchy serves this
country. I believe that economic policy should promote expansion of the
middle class.

Well said.
