Redistributing wealth to malcontents doesn't make much sense to me
either. Probably better off in the hands of people who find it
valuable and appreciate it.

Volunteerism is gaining steam in the US but I don't expect Herring
will be volunteering his hand out from the gov't.

It's a long-standing tactic from both sides, but it's gotten worse and
degenerated into personal attacks even more that during Clinton's two terms.
