70 is a cool day here in south FL once you get acclimated and your
blood thins out a little, even in January/February. You feel it most
coming out of a heated pool into the air.

I caught a chill the other night getting out of the pool. It was down
to 84 or so but there was a breeze.

We had a frost warning last week.
Try getting out of your pool into that!

Not to worry...you wouldn't want to live in SW Florida. Nice place to
visit, though. :)

I did the Orlando, Tampa, St Petes thing with the family a number of years
ago.
Except for the warm temps,,,didn't see any compelling reason to return.
When I do...it'll be the South Miami down through the Keys tour.
There are lots of neat Caribbean Islands I'd like to see in the meantime.

You'll need a bigger boat to see the islands. But your current one
should be just right for the everglades. You might want to swap your
lower unit for a jet though.

The Everglade's channels are dredged to 12' or so.
