I thought of going Verizon wireless, for really not much more than I'm paying for a phone bill now, but that means re wiring the internal phone line. I hate to give up the crank phones though. |

True story. We had one of the hand crank generators from an old phone. Cat used to get on the outside window sill and lay there, and used it to sharpen his claws. My brother took some aluminum foil and covered the sill with it, and hooked up the generator!!! Man we had fun! He'd also get people to grab the wires, and he'd turn it so slow you could hardly feel it, when you got comfortable for a split second, he give it a good crank! |
