What difference does either question make?

Obama has had plenty of time to pull out of Afghanistan, and Iraq for
that matter.

Why are we still in Afghanistan. What does Obama hope to get out of

The Taliban never conducted state sponsored terrorism. The Taliban was
used by OBL and AQ as a base of operations because Afghanistan is the
anus of the Earth.
