Default A Surefire Plan!

Let's get this straight...

We're going to pass a health care plan

-written by a committee whose head says he doesn't understand it,

-passed by a Congress that hasn't read it but exempts themselves from
it,

-signed by a president that also hasn't read it and who smokes,

-with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn't pay his
taxes,

-overseen by a surgeon general who is obese, and...

-financed by a country that's nearly broke.

What could possibly go wrong?

....and when it does go wrong, and it surely will, the Dims will blame it on
Bush.

we had 8 years of free market capitalism...and look at what it did for

it's time to get some benefits for the middle class instead of
wallstreet.

we could say no and continue to rely on the free market....that'd

What could possibly go wrong?

John Mackey, CEO of Whole Foods, and a very progressive (liberal) thinker,
penned a column in the Wall street Journal Online that begins:

"With a projected $1.8 trillion deficit for 2009, several trillions more in
deficits projected over the next decade, and with both Medicare and Social
Security entitlement spending about to ratchet up several notches over the
next 15 years as Baby Boomers become eligible for both, we are rapidly
running out of other people's money. These deficits are simply not
sustainable. They are either going to result in unprecedented new taxes and
inflation, or they will bankrupt us.

"While we clearly need health-care reform, the last thing our country needs
is a massive new health-care entitlement that will create hundreds of
billions of dollars of new unfunded deficits and move us much closer to a
government takeover of our health-care system. Instead, we should be trying
to achieve reforms by moving in the opposite direction-toward less
government control and more individual empowerment. Here are eight reforms
that would greatly lower the cost of health care for everyone:...."

There are valid and workable alternatives to the Dims' socialistic answers
to everything that will leave this country bankrupt. Wouldn't it make sense
to consider the alternatives rather than reject them out of hand?

what's amazing about you free market fundies is you ignore history

if YOUR solution worked, we wouldn't be in the situation we're in.

your solution is a failure. that's why the entire advanced world has
abandoned it. it's why we have the most expensive and least effective
health care in the world

and you'll continue masturbating yourself about the fantasies you have
about your free market wet dreams...

lullabye and good night.

My Grandpa taught me some German when I was a kid....but mostly cuss
words . I think mostly to give grandma shock and make my dad mad.

We've had a form of "free market capitalism" for scores of decades
now. What did it do for us? The Long Boom. The strongest national
economy in the history of the modern world. The most affluent
middle-class in modern history.

Please don't respond, though. It's not that you will have any
reasonable refutation. You won't. It's that I've had my fill of
liberal naivete, misinformation, dissembling, hyperbole, propaganda,
and prevarication.

(I did have a very good friend once who was an ardent liberal; but,
he wasn't intellectually dishonest.)
