I just watched 25 questions to Arlen Specter (sp?) and only one was supportive (even she had problems with the bill), yet the moron stood there and said something like "most Americans want this bill". I have read the Honduran constitution and it specifically required the military to act to remove the Pres, not the police. Zelaya was not exiled, he was simply told that if he came back he would be arrested for his illegal actions. He can go back whenever he wants but he will be arrested as REQUIRED by the constitution. The reality is that Obama DOES NOT support constitutional law. Zelaya attempted to mount a coup and got caught. Thunder sis simply wrong and does not even try to find out the real situation. What does that have to do with the facts I posted about the fallacy that most people in the U.S. don't want the government to help sort out the screwed up healthcare system? |

What does that have to do with the facts I posted about the fallacy that most people in the U.S. don't want the government to help sort out the screwed up healthcare system? What is the #1 problem with health care, not health insurance, in the USA? Again, what does this have to do with the fact that it is pure fallacy that "most" people in the U.S. don't want the government to help sort out the healthcare debacle? The right is sending out SO much misinformation that it's kind of funny. Last night, ABC news. They interview one of those screaming, yelling, off the wall right wingers at a town hall meeting. Sir, what is your main concern? "I don't want the government telling me I have to give up my private insurance". Sir, does it say that in the bill? "Yes, if you read page 16". Now, he was either coached to say that or he didn't read it. Why? Because what it says is simply that the private insurance companies have five years to comply with new government guidelines about things like not being allowed to drop you because of certain conditions, etc. Now, again, someone is either stupid or not being honest. Which? |
