Then, according to their Constitution, you arrest him and bring him to
trial. Having the military, not the police, put him on a plane out of
the country, is a coup.

The Congress of Honduras
appointed the new president under the Courts supervision.

As with everything else, if the obamadytes disagree with it, it is
trivialized or ignored. They still think there is no opposition to
their national health care plan.

If the Honduran Supreme Court orders the Honduran military to put him on
a plane out of the country how is that a coup d'etat?

Does the Honduran Supreme Court have the authority to order the Honduran
military to arrest the Honduran President?

Under Article 306 of the Honduran Constitution, the Supreme Court has the
right to send law enforcement to execute an arrest warrant, but it's
unclear to me, as to whether the military constitutes "law enforcement".
Under Article 102, no Honduran citizen can be exiled. From my seat,
Zelaya should have been arrested and brought to trial.

Does the Honduran Supreme Court have the authority to order the Honduran
military to arrest the Honduran President?

I don't know, but all parties have to follow the Constitution, or else
it's called a coup.

Really.. I just watched 25 questions to Arlen Specter (sp?) and only one
was supportive (even she had problems with the bill), yet the moron
stood there and said something like "most Americans want this bill".
What is he smoking...

I just listened to an interview with Congressman Mike Pence. He has
been working against the nationalization of the health care system. He
said he has also saw and increase in the number of people attending his
town hall meetings. He has not seen the shouting matches that have
occurred in some of these town hall meetings.

Could it be he is listening to his constituents, working to correct
their concerns, and not telling them they are unpatriotic for come to
his meetings to express their opinions?

I have read the Honduran constitution and it specifically required the
military to act to remove the Pres, not the police. Zelaya was not
exiled, he was simply told that if he came back he would be arrested
for his illegal actions. He can go back whenever he wants but he will
be arrested as REQUIRED by the constitution.
The reality is that Obama DOES NOT support constitutional law. Zelaya
attempted to mount a coup and got caught. Thunder sis simply wrong
and does not even try to find out the real situation.

Yes, we want health care reform. Not a govt. takeover.. Think Tort
reform, and freedom of choice across state lines. Those two issues alone
would make a huge difference but the Democrats will not go against the
trial lawyers..
