Last year complained about a problem I have with dehydration in the
heat and how I drink huge amounts of water for this. Somebody suggested drinking gatoraide to replenish electrolytes, this is obvious but it simply never occurred to me but I did try it. It is really surprising how much this helps. Within a few minutes of drinking it (compared to straight water), I feel much better. So, I thank whoever suggested it. Frogwatch in Florida |

Frogwatch in Florida Well, at least you found out about gatorade before you tried to invent it. -- "John H" wrote in message ... Please note that Interstate 90 will be closed this weekend across South Dakota. This closure will allow the Federal Government free access to haul a 200 ton piece of coal to Mt. Rushmore so that President Obama can be added to the Presidents on the monument. -- John H -- John Herring, rec.boat's resident racist. |

Drink Tonic Water with Quinine. Not with mixers, it is an acquired taste. I drink it warm, most probably wouldn't but it's ok chilled too. Once you get used to the bitter taste. Open the bottle really slow and easy when it's warm or you'll wear most of it. |

I seems that some brands will lase, and others will not. It is the quinine that does the deed. If you go in a titty bar with black lights, you can spot the gin and tonics. They glow blue white.
