No - you had it right the first time.

LOL!

You win!

Your buddy with the pawn shop - he have any Olympus OM lenses in
decent shape?

I want to do some experiments and used lenses are the way to go - I
can take 'em apart and not lose a whole lot of money. *:)

And no - that's not being cheap - that's being practical.

Hey Sorry I didn't understand you the first time (whats new!)

I'll ask him tomorrow,Tom. I don't know if it was an Olympus or not,
but he had an SLR outfit he was going to run on ebay, but pulled it
because there was moisture (or so he thought) in the lenses.

Do you specifically need Olympus, or can you use others like Minolta
or Yashica? 50mm on up?

You don't get it...again - go figure.

Your buddy posts here constantly. He's addicted. I have the self

How does that counter that you're the reigning jackass of

There is no point, asshole. Once again, I wasn't responding to you.

Yeah, you ceded the point. Reigning Jackass of Wrecked Boats.

It's yours baby, rejoice!

I think he takes a certain pleasure in holding that title.
He certainly doesn't attempt to improve himself.

I need older Oly OM lenses - I'm making a camera mount for my 12 inch
Celestron telescope to do some astrophotography. I'd buy one, but I'd
rather use my film cameras than the digital cameras for this project.

A couple of 50mm lenses would be fine. I can't find any up around
these parts. If he doesn't have any, no problem - I'll try eBay
altough I'll probably pay through the nose for them.

So tonight I thought that I needed a new BBQ grill especially with the
long weekend coming on strong. after all, my old square red top

Sunbeam had performed faithfully for the past 5 seasons, but had done
it's last burger last year. The bottom rusted out, the lid hinges were
bent and bolts broken. handle gone, and I'd don an emergency
prosthesis by wiring the grill supports with coat hanger strung
though the grill to hold the rack up. Oh well, it was faithful but
it's time to replace *sadly*. So I went looking for another, and eh,
even though they were only $25.00 I thought I'd update to something
bigger, more efficient, and with easier maintenance, and one i won't
need to carry the whole thing to the back yard jsut to dump the
ashes.

So I left the China warehouse (Walmart) and went to to Menards, and
Hey! There it was! Already assembled and it was on "clearance" sale
too!

so Instead of $45.00 it was marked down to $30.00 and it went home
with me.

It's a work of art. It does have a rather large carbon footprint.

I know there are a lot of "kettle" fans but I like a grill with a back
burner and a rotisserie. You can stick a chicken in the spit, a couple
foil wrapped potatoes on the upper rack, go for a boat ride and come
back two hours later to a great meal.

No back burner, but my Weber kettle has a rotisserie. It does a mean
turkey.

I bought a brand-new Weber Genesis stainless steel gas grill at an
estate auction. Literally brand new...never used. Got it for $70.

Gas grill. Might as well cook inside.

I use nothing BUT a Weber kettle or my large smoker. I thought I'd
like a gas grill to do simple stuff with, ended up never using it.
Tasteless meat. Here is a rotisserie for a weber:
