This boat has 2 tanks and 2 gauges and only the one gauge is reading correctly .I have cleaned the contacts on the tanks and switched the gauges and I still have the problem ?? Rick -- Rick Suds Sounds like the float is " gas-logged ", worn -out, or the ohm value is out of whack.Could be a bad ground on the float, or the lead FROM from the tank where it connects to the ground buss. *Just my guesses. Good guesses from slammy. Ground the sender lead. If the tank reads full replace the sender. Make sure you follow the instructions. I'm a plethora of useless information. I listen to people who know , and store facts.... Are there 2 of you posting under the same handle? I am detecting different writing "styles" from you. (for the lack of a better way to describe it) Me? I only post under 1 name...this one. I don't use " sock-puppets ". |
