Anchor Winch

I can get it to pull the line if I take the tension off the line and pull the anchor up by hand . I have been told that the line may be worn and that there is nothing to grip ?? Any suggestions ?? -- Rick Suds My best guess, is the motor is worn out. You didn't say how old the winch was... Is this like a winch on a 4X4? If so, isn't the cable bolted to the drum when it's put on? Is this like a Windlass, or an actual Winch? |
