sailing. Dog never looked ill but immediately after jibe, BARF, BARF,
all over the cockpit. Never taking the dang dog again.


The guy I crewed with took his little Border Collie on occasion.
That dog was no problem.

Just don't take a black cat. They are unlucky. The same black cat was
on Bismarck, HMS Cossack, and HMS Ark Royal. RN wouldn't let him on
another ship after that. Three ships gone, and Oscar died of old age
in Belfast.
