There's different ways of making it. --Vic Don't eat pork sausage or pork sausage gravy, either. I do eat gravy I make from a roasted turkey or chicken. Don't eat bacon. Eat lean ham or pork, though. I try to avoid too many nitrates, and processed meat and pork usually is loaded with 'em. Most added nitrates / nitrites to pork are very reduced in amount of the past 10 years. You can even get nitrate free hotdogs and lunchmeat. Funny thing is Turkey bacon normally has more nitrates than pig bacon. |
