I had this same shock about 3 years ago. My Amateur Extra showed up but not
the GROL with ship radar in the database. I found out they don't
automatically enter them after the First Phone to GROL downgrade. So I
entered it myself and really screwed it up. I had to email and then call a
nice lady at Gettysburg to get rid of two FRNs. It was painless, but a bit
embarrassing. I didn't admit to have a degree with a minor in computer
science (OK they did glow in the dark and we used Hollerith cards or punched
paper tape LOL)

What's going on, Larry? How come the FCC doesn't have you in the license
database? If those licenses are SO easy to get where are yours?

I went to the database to search for my GROL and it says it is not there,
yet, it is sitting in front of me on the desk. It was issued as a
replacement for my 1st phone 3/31/87. I have had a name change since then,
but I think it would still be there under the old name.
