The fuel injection system on my diesel volvo penta motor is leaking
small amounts of gasoil (a drop every couple of hours). The leak is located on the side of the fuel injection pump, exactly where the cover and two nuts are located. The question I have is wheather to take the motor to the service, or do the maintenance myself. Would it be too dificult for me to unscrew the nuts and replace the gaskets myself? Would I encounter possible difficulties beyond my basic level of expertise? I have done some maintenance in the past, but nothing major. Thanks Al |
