I have a B&G network depth sounder that has failed me.
Doing a normal search on WM, defender, etc and google search and
I have yet to find anybody in the US that carries the dam thing. I
was just going to order a new one and then send off the unit to get
repair.
So,
A. anybody know a online dealers of B&G in usa
B. whats my chances of finding another more popular unit (say
raymarine) that will drop in replacement, ie know new holes for
transducer/display?
thx, Tom

No joy, appears both transducer (airmar) and display unit are out
of production...

There are a few breakers around, but you may be in for a new system.
Nothing lasts forever.

Years ago we bought a used Honda Civic. After a few years we needed
some parts only to be told by the Honda dealer that it only stocks
parts for Civics less than 5 years old.

I had all B&G stuff on my boat. Never again.

B&G were all the rage when I started sailing in the early sixties. It was at
that time the best electronic equipment by far, on boats of all kinds.

Surely you can't be still using their gear in the US?

Dennis.
