We have a 12vdc auto vac that does pretty well. If you have the space, the 1 gallon "shop vac" (wet/dry) vacs are handy. That's what we use for long-term storage, as clothes *do* get musty-smelling otherwise. Stuff we use regularly goes in our "V" cubbies, which are dry. We used the little gear hammocks on the smaller boat, but watch for abrasion. -- Jere Lull Xan-a-Deux ('73 Tanzer 28 #4 out of Tolchester, MD) Xan's Pages: http://members.dca.net/jerelull/X-Main.html Our BVI FAQs (290+ pics) http://homepage.mac.com/jerelull/BVI/ |

Get rid of all the bulky clothes, keep barely what you need on board,
put the rest in storage with mothballs. Heck, T-shirts and swim trunks don't take up much space. Underwear? We don't need no steenkin' underwear! |
