That's why I can't use the square pans that are stainless clad copper that I love. It kind of expands with overlapping pie sections and has a center post with a ring on it. You can pick it up hooking the ring with a fork to drain the veggies. If you are doing coastal cruising where you may be in contact with grocery stores, it would (for us) be better to use a disposable pan if we have some large thing to cook.
