I've never had that problem, though I admit the entire mount is pretty quirky.
I had a Force 10 before the Magma, which was better in every way. The mount connected with one screw and was far better. The Magma cooks fine, but it's very poorly designed compared to the Force 10 and other brands. We always get a laugh when setting up the grill because of that dumb mount. Also: The Force 10 rarely got knocked out by wind. The grill market is wide open for better designs in the sub 200 dollar market. RB |
