Replacing the roller furling line

I recently purchased a 1982 O'Day 28 with a 810 Seafurl LD Hood roller furling. I'd like to replace the furling line but I can't figure out how to take it apart to replace. So far I have decide it can't be done! Also, does anyone know where to buy screen replacements for the side hatch windows?
