Default New or used/sail or motor/big or small

I'm curious about something. Pretty soon I'm gonna buy me a boat
but I don't know the first thing about boats. What's best for me, a
sailboat or a motorboat? I'm old (53), fat (325 lbs.) and really
out of shape. Since I'm fat I need a big boat but big boats are
hard to handle, aren't they? I think I'd like a sailboat but it may
be to much exercise for me. On the other hand, I like the idea of
going somewhere and not having to buy expensive fuel. I've never
held down a decent job for any length of time so I don't have a
bunch of money to spend. I guess used is better'n new? I'd like to
take cruises with my boyfriend and we both have dogs. How does one
handle the problem of dog ****?
