Good to hear it worked out well meeting the faces behind the words. I don't understand the "5 or 6 years" comment. Can you explain? --Vic Sure. We go from here to Bermuda and then the Azores/Portugal. (we'll probably go home for medical checks etc from Lagos) From there around the Med and the Black Sea / Danube for a couple of years and spit out at the end again and go north to Uk/Ireland. If we don't mind the cold, we might go to the Baltic but to me that's more of a quick train trip with woolly jumpers and Ugg boots on. Somehow we have to work out whether we want to go through France by canal boat or just park somewhere and cycle around a bit. Unknown. Same for Northern Spain, although there's good surf there so that'll hook me for some time. Then down to Cape Verde and back across to the Caribbean Through the canal and into the big wide Pacific and wander across to the far side of Australia. Unless we don't go down and leave the boat up in Indo or similar. Might take 5? Not sure. As long as our health holds up we'll keep wandering. Open to change, as even the first year has been. We've not done things that we were sure we'd do (go to Dollyville!) and done other things we never thought we'd do (spend Christmas in Daytona) Our year in the US was magnificent - what a country!! |
