LOL! A great example of beauty being in the eye of the beholder. When you
don't allow insults you set yourself up as judge, jury and jailor of what
exactly is an insult, you play the role of tyrant. And, then you have the

I haven't had to "censor" a single post or poster. The rule is posted
and no one has violated it.

We now have more actual boaters as "members" than rec.boats has. We
might have more actual boaters than rec.boats.cruising.

Sorry to say I can't disagree with that last statement of yours. Here in RBC
we have yours truly, WayneB and Joe from time to time. We three the only
real cruisers posting any more. But, on second thought, Joe is no cruiser so
that makes only two real cruisers left. Well, make that two and a half real
cruisers as Capt. Skippy of the "Flying Pig" is a part-time cruiser who
spends about half his life on the hard doing blister repairs.

The remainder of those posting are armchair cruisers who would rather talk
about Ohms, volts, amps and circuits, televisions, refrigerators, satellite
receivers, cell phones, boat yard repairs, the ins and outs of hull
blisters, living extended periods of time at a foreign dock, coffee, and so
forth - anything and everything BUT cruising.
