Hi to all, I'm newsbie. It could be possible to use okoume (gaboon) instead of Red Western Cedar in strip-planking? advandages/disadvantages? Sorry. I was not clear, not thinking that, in the "other side of the pond" (as Glenn says... eh,eh,eh :-)), solid okuomè could be a rare exotic wood. Here it is a valuable exotic wood but not so rare.
