It seems the recently fabricated economic crisis is used to justify what
Democrats do best - spend, spend, spend - with someone else's money. We're looking at over 1Trillion dollars to be handed out recently - above and beyond the current budget of 3 trillion. That's 33%. California, with an economy larger than India's, needs to be bailed out. How can a state so wealthy, with such vast resources fail to provide for all its citizens? It doesn't matter about your vote or what you believe. With corporate profits falling like rocks, people losing jobs you can bet tax revenues will fall steeply. So will the Democratics decrease the size of government to balance the budget? No, they'll issue more debt for foreign governments to buy, to be paid back at a later date by American taxpayers. Can you imagine having to PAY interest today on future taxes you may owe? The well is going to run dry no matter who is elected. McCain, an honest man, admits he doesn't understand economics well. Obama promises to spread the wealth as long as the printing presses continue to run. Eat, drink and be merry for tomorrow may never come! |

Why does a incredibly wealthy state need to be bailed out at the expense of
poorer states? |
