I'll keep that in mind when I motor out in my Mac 26X/M for a blue water cruise - if I get one, of course. For years I never bought a fender; I could always find one that had fallen off a powerboat. Maybe cause some coronaries among the "sailors" sitting in their slips polishing brightwork and refinishing teak. Do you really know any such people? Most of the obsessive cleaners I know are powerboaters. Or they're liveaboards who devote a few days a year to varnishing. |
