I've been offered two large blue Taylor fenders, but am told they leak.
What kind of cement/glue would work to fix them? I have an idea to push a small piece of material with this yet un-named substance on it through the hole like they repair radial tires, but don't want to screw it up by using the wrong stuff. Capt. jeff |

Check with West Marine. I think Taylor has a lifetime warrantee on the
fenders. "Tamaroak" wrote in message ... I've been offered two large blue Taylor fenders, but am told they leak. What kind of cement/glue would work to fix them? Gene,
It seems the solution is easy, just pump the suckers up till they split. ; ) "Gene Kearns" wrote in message ... On Mon, 04 Apr 2005 21:23:00 GMT, "Calif Bill" wrote: Check with West Marine. Capt. jeff The warranty is against them splitting.... Catch 22 is that they can't split when they don't hold air... which is usually how they fail. -- Grady-White Gulfstream, out of Southport, NC. http://myworkshop.idleplay.net/ Homepage* http://www.thebayguide.com/rec.boats Rec.boats at Lee Yeaton's Bayguide |

Capt. jeff http://www.go2marine.com/g2m/action/..._polyform.html I never used it but it may be worth a try. |
