Now you have to go forward to release it before you can use your jib. All you have to do with a roller jib is to put enough turns on the drum so that you can roll a turn or two of the sheets on top of the sail. Make sure the sheets are properly cleated and all is secure and the sail can be unrolled instantly when you want it. This is for when I'm not at the dock.
