Also got a lesson about securing genoa sheets and tying a keeper line around the rolled genny. I don't put a line around the rolled jib, you should. Anybody with a roll-up jib is too stupid in the first place to do things right. Nothing screams "stupid, inept wannabe" like a roll-up jib. Get rid of that roll-up crap, use hank-on headsails and be a real sailor for once. The only thing more stupid looking than a roll-up headsail on a sailboat is a roll-up headsail on a Mac26.
