I do find it a little odd that IF Benny build the yacht with a short
luffed sail that they would then have a measurement point well above the 'normal' hoist. It IS odd and if you've been looking at the posted pics I'm being 100% truthful about it. I have the original main and it also hoisted short...at least to my eye, there's a foot or more of slide above it. Of course none of this matters in the real world...I'm just bopping around daysailing and short cruises. These will be fun and fast sails....
