NEW Sails!!!
CMW,
I had a 155% kappa Head Sail on a Self Furling. It was what they called a 10-40 regulator. It had a foam insert to keep its shape when rolled up. I loved that damn sail. Most of the time it was used full out but I had marks on the foot of the sail so I could roll it up the 100%. That Sail was just about bullet proof, It hadn't lost an inch in Five Years, It was a great sail but a light air sail it wasn't. When I purchased the Sail from HILD, they held a patented on the Kappa Cut. I purchased a 170% Drifter, which I flew free behind the Furled Regulator. After I learned to use the Drifter & 155 each poled out, the Spinnaker saw damn little sailing time. That is why I question cutting a good head on a Self Furler? http://community.webtv.net/tassail/ILLDRINKTOTHAT |
