This is some seriously beautiful oak. My backyard now

smells like a fine
furniture store.
I should've looked harder at bringing in a lumber company.

I still have
quite a few nice hunks of wood that need to go, might be

an idea.

Most logging guys around here won't bother with a small lot,
say, less than 2 dozen trees. May be different in your
area.

I'm pretty good with a mule. Does that make me a swinger?

Sure. Sheep too?

Now you're just rubbing my nose in it!

Nah, just wondered if you were ready to sail yet. Let me
know if I can help with anything.

Don't know what your schedule is like, but, if you can do
it, The Great Chesapeake Bay Schooner Race is Thursday Oct.
12th, 1PM. They start just below the Bay Bridge.

There is a really nice ramp (10 ramps) facility at Sandy
Point State Park
http://www.dnr.state.md.us/publiclan...n/sandypoint.h
tml which is right next to the bridge. We launched there
with the Mac.

I plan on going, BUT I missed the last 2 years for one
reason or another.

True that, but I want a lot more of them gone. They're beautiful but way too
big to have around my house. Nightmares in a windstorm.

You need a wood stove. be careful if you do hire a logger,
some of them have been known to 'tear up' properties.
Also, my buddy got screwed out of $30k when his logger
didn't pay him and then filed for bankruptcy, he's still
fighting it ( the lawyer is getting most of the money now).
