I do not have an American Sailor 16. I have Butterfly and a Kirie
Elite. But you know that.

How am I supposed to know that? You posted that you just bought an American Sailor 16.
you asked how to get the haze off.

Umm.that was from someone named Kathy...not katy...was the first post
that person has ever made here....and since I replied to that post with
a suggestion, you must have thought I was a real lamer for answering my
own dilemma, eh?

Duh! I'd better pay attention. I didn't notice the difference. Kathy and Katy. Just one little letter.
I don't care about getting haze off so I didn't pay any attention to the answers.
