Berret
and Phillipe Stark

Who are they?

Google them for details. Berret is a leading yacht designer. Most
people have heard of him...at least most sailors. Starck is ultra
famous and I knew his work long before I knew he had any association
with sailboat design.
The 35s5 is handsigned by Starck/Berret and the boat was also featured
everywhere from the NY Times to the Museum of Modern Art quarterly. In
spite of it's high price at the time they still managed to sell more
than 200 of them here in under 5 years. They are quite unlike most
other Beneteau boats having a far higher build quality than the Oceanus
series or the newer First series. My boat is even nicer having the
custom teak interior and better fabrics...it was an expensive option
just like the R&P steering option.

Woooo... just caught this glaring little error! You mean the custom fake
teak plastic veneer and miniscule real teak accents....

On a positive note.... the 35s5 is globally renown for their spacious head.
I understand you can swing a cat in there!

Kinda hard to put real teak over honeycomb matererial, but the veneer
is real. The only plastic is the sliding storage covers. Her interior
is far far nicer than any Nordica 30, certainly better built and out of
far more expensive materials to save weight.

True, she has a large head big enough for a real shower or folks with
long legs. I don't like cats, so they're not permitted on aboard.
