Notice how Bobsprit claimed to have a secondary MOB device... notice how
there is only one and it still has no line attached to it? It's without a
doubt the most ill equipped vessel in regards to safety considerations that
I have ever laid eyes on.

What do other posters here mandate as basic safety equipment on their
vessels?

Snake bite kit: knife, tweezers, Band-Aid, large bottle of
rum.

What are you gonna do with tweezers for a snake bite? And
what about some gauze pad? And you should carry three
bottles of rum, just in case.

Snake bite kit:

Hey, that's funny! What's the contents of the snake bite kit???? Almost
all of them are useless unless you have a ton of anti venoms in stock.

Inquire with your nurse/wife as to the spelling of the proper term:
antivenin.

Nutsy,

Snake Bite is the reason to open the damn Bottle Of RUM!! Same as the
Cork Screw on the lanyard. Jeez, will you ever learn. Do you even know
what; "Sun Over The Yardarm" means.

Nutsy,

All the anti-venom doesn't mean ****. When was the last time you seen a
"poisonous snake' on a boat? In Long Island Sound? Wise up!!!

Thom, don't talk about things you don't understand. I'm a former animal
handler and my father was a HS lecturer on herpetology for 12 years ICW
the NY Zoological Society. I have 1st hand experience with venomous
snakes and bites. Some of the snakes I've handled included Diamond Back
rattler, Spitting Cobra and several rear fanged snakes.

Nutsy,

I asked you; when was the last time you seen a poisonous snake on a
Sailboat on Long Island Sound? I'll even go so far as to say that you
have never seen a poisonous snake,in the wild on Long Island. They don't
exist!

Now! I won't say you've never seen some one down a jigger of Rum for
"Snake Bite". done it myself.

But, I don't think there was ever a poisonous snake to witness it. Even
from you that would be to much of a Lie!
