Still I'm scared, let me know if the birds run for high
ground!
BTW how do the birds know about the comet heading
towards us?

They don't run from the comet...they run from the
tsunami.....

Why don't they fly?

Kiwis or penguins, maybe?

And, oh yeah, they don't get far.

Have you seen "March of the Penguins" yet?

You said "yet." Does that imply that I'm going to be forced to see it
against my will?

Find somewhere else to be. Penguins frankly simply aren't that
interesting.

How about Australia?

Yeah, that'd do (as somewhere else to be). In fact you could see some
penguins at the same time. There's a colony on an island about 30
minutes from my place.

Alternative meaning, is Australia interesting - no. It's a boring
place. If you want interesting, go visit Iraq or Iran or......

OTOH you could charter a yacht & go sailing in the Whitsunday Passage.

Fremantle in February sounds nice.

For what? I like Freo, was there for a while early this year, but can't
say I think much of the sailing.

I like the line which was something like, "I said I didn't have any use for
handguns, not that I didn't know how to use them."

Quite right, too. A scope sighted rifle and a couple hundred metres
separation beats a handgun nearly every time.

Not every time... unless you're the Rifleman.

That's true also. Of course he used his short sabre also. :-)

He never shot anything at 600 meters, either.
