Default Why is Doug so Bitter?

Doug has been sailing for many decades.

I guess when you get caught lying so much, "credibility" is
a difficult concept for you to grasp.

.... Do you realize that he used to own
a Hunter 19, a boat he CAREFULLY chose, then claimed he wouldn't buy
again?

That's a lie you've repeated, maybe you believe it.

The Hunter 19 water ballast (1993-95) is a great trailerable
cruiser. Ours sailed more in one year than you do in a decade.

Sorry again, Doug, but unless you have a broken back and no money
there's no excuse for buying both the poor sailing Hunter 19 and then
buying a powerboat. You have no credibility at all. The only sailing
you do is on Google.

Not a lie at all... try again when you have sailed your own
boat off Nantasket & Tybee Roads, and most places in between.

And until you get a good trailerable, you'll still miss most
of the lovely lakes & rivers in this part of the continent.

You may have sailed in more places, but not more. No one here sails as
often as we do, Doug. No one. And you don't sail at all anymore. I know
you'll claim to...and that's fine.

That's awfully big of you, old chap... admitting that I "may
have" sailed more places... gee, and maybe the Pope just
might be Catholic, ya think?

My dog has more miles under sail than you.

I don't remember that remark? Was it wine induced?
Besides, he was probably my cousin...

Instead of the frequency of your sailing, let's hear about the quality.

So what were you sailing 15 years ago?

Amen!

He would freak out if the horizon didn't include a skyscraper skyway....
