The running rust is not coming from the ladder on all these pictures it
is coming from the base of the backstay. Bwahahahahaha! Joe, you're funny! So the rust is running from the backstay, then under the ladder area only! What about the port side? No rust there. And the backstay is in a recessed area, so how is the rust climbing up, then back down to end up beneath the ladder only on the starboard side!? Please explain! Bad on paint, and worse on fiberglass gelcoat. Look around the area on your boat rob, you will notice the gelcoat in that area looks chalkey. We did, both me and two surveyors. All gelcoat is bright and shiny in spite of the last wax job being about 6 months ago. Now, since the boat sat in salt water before she was shipped and I brought her to the slip myself, how much MORE salt water exposure is required for the stains to come back??? (PS: This may be the saddest trolling ever...and I like it!!!) RB 35s5...no Rust anywhere! NY |
