A little care and proper maintance anyone can keep such things from
happening unless it is steel bolts ect running thru plastic that can
not be maintained. That looks like whats happening to me on the 35s5's.
The running rust is not coming from the ladder on all these pictures it
is coming from the base of the backstay.

I allready told you why your is not showing running rust. All brokers
know all you have to do is put Ospho in a spray bottle and mist the
running rust, it disappears until exposed to salt spray again. Bad on
paint, and worse on fiberglass gelcoat. Look around the area on your
boat rob, you will notice the gelcoat in that area looks chalkey.

You 35s5 guys should get together a file a class action lawsuit!
