Imagination and spirit can be found in sailing boats...both old and
new. Some are fads that don't last, others are refined into standards
that last. Some aspects of the 35s5 lasted....the swim platform, aft
cabin, large head and good turn of speed: all things we expect on a new
35 foot boat these days. Things like her below decks furler and odd
ports did not, for the most part, last. But that's what imagination is
all about and it's a wonderful thing when it's worked into a splendid
boat like the 35s5....
