Jelious Rob? Because Jim sailed all summer and you did not. Jim has a
real boat and uses it, while all you have are pictures of someone elses
boat.

Instead of complaining about me putting down your fine vessel, give us some
details about her sailing characteristics. When did you sail her last? Did
you have any problems or questions about something? Are you making any
improvements to her?

It's a Mac 26M right???

Actually, Cap, I don't have a Mac 26X. That's part of Jon's problem
too. - He's talking about models they were producing 15 years ago.

You'd best give your head a shake and have another look in the mirror....
that's a number 8 Daredevil Lure on your upper lip there Cate.

Getting trolled and hooked by a no talent like Ganzy is probably the most

But Heh.... run with it... Ganzy thinks "adjusting the drag" means to

Try to pay attention here Commode Rob.

1. Everybody knows your Rob Brody AKA Bobspirt, BB, Rusty, Crapt. Rob
You can denign it all you want but it is crystal clear to everybody.

2. You did not have a boat this summer, Jim did..... and out sailed you
by many miles.

3. Your wifes new boat is just French production junk, nothing more.

4. Lately you have sunken lower than whale ****, and that's on the
bottom of the ocean.

5. I own you.

No, it's Bob who's not happy with his 'stepping stone' boat.

I think he is. I have lot more respect for Jim than for Commode. Personally,
I wouldn't pick a Mac, but Jim is at least sailing.

Sorry Jimmy, but you're never going to convince me that a MaccrapM has
any place in blue water sailing. I would also submit that you don't
have a clue about "sticking it out." I've been here practically since
the group was formed, and I'll be here long after your pathetic excuse
for a sailboat sinks beneath the ripples on your pond.

Gee Jon. - I was really impressed that you've been here practically
since the group was formed.

But then when I checked your posts to ASA on deja, the earliest one I
could find was May, 2002, when you were complaining about the fact that
you were a lousy draftsman in the back room or your house. (Of course,
maybe you had submitted earlier posts under a different name.) - In
contrast, my posts seem to begin in March, 1997, with further
participation in March of 1999 at which time I was debating whether to
get a Mac or a larger boat. (I decided to wait and continue chartering
larger boats.) Also some of my posts to rec.boats.cruising began in
1996. In other words, Jon, my participation on this and other sailing
ngs appear to have begun far earlier than yours, i.e., around 9 years
ago. Of course, it's true that I haven't spent as many hours posting
to the newsgroup over the years as you have, because I had other
responsibilities and demands on my time. Like, I had to get out of my
house and go to work.

But you probably changed your e-mail address, right Jon?

And, I'm impressed that you're impressed.

Unfortunately, I think you're confusing me with someone else. I am neither a lousy nor proficient draftsman, since I am not nor have ever been a draftsman.

I've been posting here since the late 80s. Suggest you look again.

FYI, I've been sailing since I was 13, and I've sailed on boats up to about 60 ft.

I've had the same email address and have been posting to usenet since 1998 (when I initiated the sailnow.com domain). Prior to that (and currently actually), I've owned and used the pacintl.com to email and post.. created circa 1993. Prior to that I was using other company's addresses to email and post to usenet.

I'm fortunate that I pretty much work for myself, so I can post whenever I feel like it, with a couple of exceptions due to client assignment restrictions.

Still stalking me I see. If you keep up this sort of thing, you're only
going to be hurting yourself. Anger is not something you want to mess with
and it can do real harm to you over the long term.
