A yachtswoman is to attempt to become the first woman to sail solo non-stop
the "wrong way" around the world. Dee Caffari, 32, will set off from Portsmouth on 20 November on the trip against prevailing winds and currents. Ms Caffari, from Southampton, expects her circumnavigation to last between 150 and 160 days.
