t's not about size. It's not about value. It's
not about a fancy interior. What an arrogant toad you remain, Steve. It IS about size if you need room to sleep, have kids or just sail with more people. It is about a fancy well fit interior if that's what YOU want. Value? That's a word for losers. I'd rather have a fast fun boat than also sports a nice interior. There's no "value" in an old dated interior. I'd suggest that you find an Express 30 and sail it. You won't find many boats like it. Another silly statement. I found very few boats like the Typhoon either. The Bristol 27 is dinstinctive in sailing manners as well and so is the J27. Lots and lots of boats sail great, Steve. Everyone who's sailed the 35s5 seems to be in love with it AND I have a nice interior. What advantage does the Express 30 have beyond a cheaper price? Has it gone up in value as the 35s5 or C&C 34XL has? Will it be easier to maintain? The Express 30, J29, Santana 30/30, J30 and boats like them have one major thing going for them: LOW PRICE. If money is what counts and you don't have enough, buy one of them. If you want something nicer...there are plenty of choices both used an new. Value is relative to needs and financial clout. If you have low end needs and no clout....by all means buy another Depress 30. RB 35s5...the best boat on ASA. NY |
