I'm sure there were some folks there interested in the tsunami. Its a picture of Wood's Hole at the southern tip of Cape Cod. In the middle is the passage that connects Buzzard's Bay with Vineyard Sound. The current can get up to six knots, and with the "S" turn, the ferry boats, and the frequent fog, it can get somewhat interesting. In the upper center is Eel Pond, which is surrounded by several marine research organizations. |
