I could do with some beer money.

I believe we'd be doing them a favour by taking their money to pay for our
beer!!

Let's face it... when the regulars "clash"... the lurkers get excited! We
should cash in on this opportunity like a hooker on a john!

Beer? BEER? This from the iconoclastic Cannuck who accused moi of
churlish tastes for drinking anything less than 10000000 proof rum?

P'shaw.

Now looky here Max ..... I love my beer.... matter of fact I had an
excellent liter of Belgian Chimay last night.... a Grande Reserve Trappist
ale that clocked in at 9%. An excellent brew.

American Beer??....... Hee Hee Haw! Yeah Shure....

Still haven't tried Samuel Adams, have ya? Didn't think so.

At least you aren't guzzling that Canadian urine-substitute known as Molson,
which, incidentally, has joined forces with another of those American
brewery icons, Coors.

Molson: Canadian for Coors :-p

No I haven't...... but friends who have tasted Samuel Adams are of the
opinion that it would be a waste of time.... Time which would be better
spent drinking a good tasting beer.

I agree..... I won't drink that foul brew..... and they had to stop the
"I am Canadian" advertising program!! :-)

A Belgian Company purchased LaBatts I believe...

That'll be the Chimay Blue. It really is superb stuff - one of the very best
beers to be had anywhere, at any price.

The problem with yank 'quality' beers is that the baseline **** is so bad,
they think mediocre is something to write home about!

That's the one..... and I concur on your opinion.

Thus .... from what I'm led to believe.... is the rational for Max
suggesting Samuel Adams! :-)

Nay, nay, foul Cannuck. Sam Adams is a really fine beer, totally and
completely unlike anything from Anheuser Busch, Miller, or Coors. It has
body, flavor, and character, really more like a quality microbrew than the
urine-substitute sold on NFL game days. AND they brew a number of specialty
beers from time to time, some excellent, some less to my tastes.

Impugn not that of which you have not partaken.

Yup. Pretty much like Fosters.
