Being a new boat owner, I recently started using rec.boats. Years ago
I used computer newsgroups for help when I was getting started in that arena. I am shocked that a high percentage of postings on this newsgroup are for political bantering and NOT "recreational" "boating". Can't you guys find/use a more suitable newsgroup for your polical issues = "soc.politics" or "alt.politics.*"? Some of us want to use the newsgroup for what it was originally intended. Without your misuse of the newsgroup, it would be easy to see the recent postings...perhaps get some help from a fellow experienced boater. My $0.02. BTW: from what limited reading I have done on your political exchanges...I am sure my $0.02 is not worth anything and I should expect a lively exchange of flaming over stating "my opinion". |

Sterling Maybe *you* should relocate there and stop whining in here, eh? You're really a crashing bore. You add no content here. -- Email sent to is never read. |

Its not all that bad, Bear. You soon learn what to read and who to ignore. Just think, if these guys weren't doing this, they might actually be taking out their frustration on the real world. |
