So, do you run an anchor light all night? Maintain a watch? Ever
leave to go below while sailing? I'll bet you violate the Inland
Rules every day. And unlike the ColRegs, you can be penalized for
breaking those rules even if there isn't an incident.


You cannot accuse someone of breaking the law themselves
in order to exonerate someone else who breaks the law.


It wasn't an attempt at exoneration.
