Are you trying to say something, Neal? The death by firearm rate in MA
has fallen since the latest gun law, though its still too early to see the full affect, especially since there are state nearby where its easy to get guns. However, the MA rate for firearm death is less than a third of the national average. Capt. "Jeff Morris" wrote in message Except the truth is, when you bring a gun in to house, it is more likely to kill a family member than to protect against a crime. That's the truth, not your bogus "logic." It's Bogus to make that assumption. I grew up in a household with lots of firearms. Nobody in the family got shot. Nobody would come near the place unless invited, because everyone knew we were armed to the teeth and wouldn't hesitate to shoot. We were trained to handle, clean and then shoot early in life, by my Dad.... a strict respect for weapons was instilled. It's your friggin' Liberal assed, prima Donna, thinks they should tell others how to live attitude that really underlines how little you understand the very basic notion that a person has the right to protect themselves. Navy? Army? Drown? Horvath, read the freakin post again! You're
starting to sound as dumb as Billy BBob. SV "Horvath" wrote Well, a few years back, on my way home from Annapolis, a girl jumped off the Bay Bridge as I was sailing towards it about 1/4 mile away. CG radioed for all mariners to be on lookout for the body. They spotted her with their helo later. Only the gayboys of the Navy use "helos." The Army uses choppers. BTW, how can you drown in the Chesapeake Bay? It's only three feet deep. I ran aground in a dingy a mile away from shore. I just pulled up the daggerboard, and sailed on. I coulda walked to shore, if I had enough beer. |
Smoking kills 450,000 a year. Should we outlaw smoking?

No, it adds up to under 12,000 - most 'victims' of the WOD. Interesting the WISCARS shows 10% on a populaton on 290 million. This might help http://tinyurl.com/3r8wv It really is a shock to the system eh. Sure is. I had no idea there were that many suicides and justifiable homocides. 30,000! wow! So all gun daths that are suicide and justifiable homocide are not related to guns in the community? What constitutes a justifiable homocide...Is that where someone comes at you with a gun and you shoot em dead? Of course we have to put that in perspective by remembering that medical "misadventures" (doctors don't make mistakes, they have misadventures) kill over 100,000/yr. Well well, maybe we could just ignore ever cause of death that is less than what doctors cause.....what level of deaths/100,000 would you like to set the limit of ignorance at? Oz1...of the 3 twins. I welcome you to crackerbox palace,We've been expecting you. |
There are other factors involved.
