ROFLMAO
Hell, Joe, if you're going to do it do it right!
I'd suggest a couple of fouled Danforths with bent flukes connected to
some huge anchor chain which is full of knots .... paint some shot
markings in reverse order.
When you get it done, let me know so I can get one and save it to my
collection.

I think thats a very fine ideal, Fouled anchors it is.

http://4dw.net/fishcake/home/galfantasy/anchor.jpg

Thats what I prefer my anchors fouled with.

Let thoses Cadet pussies use rope and bent flukes.

But I think Master Mariner is not grand enough a title...
Perhaps Master of the Raging Ocean...Or King of the Sea...oh sorry
Charlie thats taken...Hmmmmmm...

King Master Mariner of The Raging Sea's
Channel 16 - 22 if urgent
Mid-Ocean

Then it's the greek fisherman hat... white turtle neck ,and pipe for
casual days, Full dress whites with fleet admiral bars, paded sholder
bars with gold tassles and a dozon braded gold rings around the cuffs
and a huge dose of Old Spice aftershave.

Capt Crunch and Capt Kangaroo will be soooooooooooo jelious.

What's wrong with ''skipper''?

Joe,

One final thought, not designed as "bait".
From 1988 - 1992, I sailed as Master aboard tankers ranging from

50,000 tn to
90,000 tn.
The term/title, Master Mariner, had meaning to me and those I sailed

with and I
was damned proud to think that after all those years, sailing in

various
positions, including Master of limited tonnage vessels, I was

finally able to
apply and use the term/title after my name.
Needless to say, I do not take the usage of the terms/titles

Captain or Master
Mariner lightly (Gawd help the idjiot that calls me "Skipper"), for

I worked
for many years to get to a point where I would allow MYSELF to think

of myself
as a Captain or Master Mariner.

Oh, that skipper. He had all the sailing skills of Capt. Neal combined
with the navigational skills of Nav and the physique of boobspit.
